경탄을 느끼게 하는 소리들 - 음악적 비전
음악가로서 저는 고전음악을 새롭게 편곡하여 연주하고 틀에 얽매이지 않는 공연을 펼치면서 청중에게 놀라움을 선사하고 그 예상을 뛰어넘고 싶습니다.
저는 고급 음악 문화를 콘서트홀에서뿐만 아니라 이 문화와 무관한 장소에서 이와 무관한 사람들에게도 전하는것이 중요하다고 생각합니다.
저는 자신만의 아이디어를 추구하고 그것을 또한 실행에 옮기는 동료들과 함께 작업하는 것을 소중하게 생각합니다.
저의 예술 작업에 있어 큰 부분을 차지하는 것은 폭넓은 관객들이 콘서트나 페스티벌을 방문하도록 이끄는 특별한 연주 편성입니다. Harald Oeler(클래식 아코디언)와 함께 결성한 "Duo ViA!"는 클래식 음악이 어떻게 시대에 어울리는 소리를 낼 수 있는지 보여줍니다. “Duo ViA!”는 야외 공연을 해도 손색 없는 소리를 들려줍니다.
삶을 변화시키기 - 음악의 힘으로
저는 음악이 사람들을 치유하고 통합하는 힘이 있다고 확신합니다. 저는 희망과 용기를 불러일으키는 공연, 듣는이가 일상의 현실에서 벗어나 자신을 넘어서 성장하게 하는 공연을 경험할 수 있도록 만드는 것을 저의 사명으로생각합니다. 하룻동안 가능한 한 다양한 장소에서 요한 세바스티안 바흐의 바이올린 솔로 소나타 여섯 곡을 연주하는 최근 프로젝트 „FOLLOW ME WITH BACH“ 는 이러한 생각에서 탄생하였습니다.
클래식 음악의 길
저는 솔리스트이자 수석 악장으로 베를린 도이치 심포니 오케스트라, 뉘른베르크 필하모닉, 루체른 심포니 오케스트라 등과 협연했습니다.
저는 널리 알려진 바이올린 협주곡 외에도 벤자민 브리튼(Benjamin Britten), 벨라 바르톡(Bela Bartok), 칼 닐슨(Carl Nielsen), 어니스트 쇼송(Ernest Chausson)과 같이 잘 알려지지는 않았지만 유명 작품에 버금갈 정도로 뛰어난 작품들도 연주합니다.
제가 음악 작업에서 초점을 맞추고 있는 또 다른 분야는 실내악입니다. 그래서 저는 <베를린 도이치 심포니 오케스트라 수석 오보이스트>인 Viola Wilmsen와 뛰어난 현악 연주자들과 함께 오보에 4중주단 "Vario Quartett"을 결성하여 연주하였습니다.
저는 바로크와 초기 클래식 음악에도 관심이 있습니다. 제가 라인하르트 괴벨이 지휘하는 바이에른 챔버 오케스트라에서 수석 악장(Konzertmeisterin)으로 재임했던 일은 이 클래식 음악의 길에서 중요한 기점이 되었습니다. 여기서 더 나아가 저는 지금까지 잘 알려지지 않았으나 거장들에 버금가는 작곡가들의 새로 발견된 작품들을 집중적으로 다루고 있습니다.
